Despite the economic slowdown, Pakistan named again as the Football producer of the FIFA World Cup 2022
The Sialkot based company namely Forward Sports for the third time made its way to the FIFA World Cup 2022. Al-Rihla, the name of football which means ‘the journey’ produced by Adidas in Pakistan by the Forward Sports company. The director of forwarding Sports mentioned that around 3000 footballs will be used in the FIFA World Cup hosted by Qatar. Replicas will also be produced the worth 8 million. The ball weight is between 425 grams to 444 grams and the size is between 68.8 cm to 69.3 cm. The material used in the football is 25% recyclable, the director said. This is also noted that the World Cup 2022 is going to set the floor in November-December 2022 in Qatar, the first Gulf nation to host the event.
