Mother-Daughter succeeded to Commonwealth Games

Bismah Maroof, the captain of Pakistan Cricket Team of Women can now bring her daughter to upcoming games, the Commonwealth Games soon happened in Birmingham, England. The games are due in July and the commonwealth games federation had earlier denied Bismah to travel along with her daughter. However, the decision has been rolled back and gives a green signal for the upcoming event. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the decision taken by the commonwealth federation. The 30-year-old Maroof thanked the federation for the favorable decision.

Also, Tania Mallick, the head of PCB said that, “I want to thank the Commonwealth Games for accepting our request to accommodate our captain Bismah Maroof’s family at the Games village which will allow her to focus on the task at hand without any worries about her young infant daughter,”
