Sony Predicts Smartphones Will Outpace DSLR in 2024

Sony is known as one of the leading brands in image sensors so if it makes predictions in anything related to image it definitely weighs for us. The president and CEO of Sony Semiconductor Solutions (SSS), Terushi Shimizu said that people will witness better pictures and images than DSLR cameras. The smartphones’ quality of getting better image is enhancing day by day, improving in sensor images, viewfinder, creative control and operations. These features were previously exclusively related to mirror cameras or DSLR, but now it can be seen in the smartphones as well since Sony being the biggest manufacturer in image sensors endorsed the upcoming revolution in smartphone cameras.
