Dust, Rain, Thunderstorm likely to start from Thursday Evening All Over Pakistan, Says Pakistan Meteorological Department

The National Weather Forecasting Centre (NWFC), Islamabad has reported that the present heat wave continues to remain for 4 to 5 days this week, day temperatures remain high in Islamabad, Punjab, KPK, Sindh and Balochistan. The heat wave is likely to be followed by the rain spell in upper and central parts of the country, they further predicted. The department also shared the possible impact of the heatwave on crops, vegetables and orchards, they have to suffer water distress. The ongoing heatwave is dangerous and it is advisable for the general public to not commute unnecessary. The rain spell will last for an unknown period, all the concerned departments need to devise emergency policies. The temperature recorded this week for Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar are 40, 42, 33 and 40 on average respectively. However, the feel-like temperature is more than the recorded temperature.
