LUMS Won Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia 2022 in Excellence and Innovation in Arts Category

Lahore University of Management and Sciences (LUMS) has made a remarkable move in winning THE Awards Asia in Arts Category. The Project namely ‘Sikhvirsa’ is an interdisciplinary project produced with a collaboration between history and computer science departments of LUMS. Sikhvirsa is named after the narrative of the journey of Sikh culture, history and journey which includes artefacts from the Lahore Fort Sikh Gallery. The researcher used the visual data to display the gallery. The award is known as the ‘Oscars of Higher Education’ in the Excellence and Innovation in Arts category.
