Grappling Stereotypes, Anita Karim won against Aussie Opponent in Bangkok

Anita Karim, a Pakistani mixed martial arts (MMA) has recently defeated Aussie opponent Uyen Ha in the Fairtex Fight Promotion at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Karim is a first ever female MMA fighter is 25-year-old and from Hunza beat in all three rounds of the fight. Uloomi Karim, her brother, took her achievement to social media. Anita Karim brought in the news for winning the One Warrior Series (OWS) against Indonesian opponent Gita Suharsono in 2019. She expressed her gratitude on her twitter account for the recent victory. She is one to be known for grappling with stereotypes. She said in her interview that she came from the family of Taekwondo black belt holders where women usually do the toughest and hard work.
