Pakistani Teacher Reaches Near to Final Round of Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Award 2022

Uroosa Imran of Beaconhouse School System is the first Pakistani teacher who made it to the final round of Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Award 2022. It is a prestigious global competition where teachers from all around the world are nominated. It is an appreciation award for the teachers who go the extra mile to help students in exploring their inner potentials. Uroosa Imran has been nominated for teaching a child who suffers from a rare muscular disease due to which he is unable to sit, walk or hold things in his hands. It is because of Ms Uroosa Imran that a child comes to school like a normal student and participates in every activity. This effort is recognized and made her to reach the final round of the prestigious award. On an annual basis, a total of 7000 nominees are counted from 113 countries and the winners are announced on a regional basis by a panel of judges.

Ms Uroosa has also remained the regional winner of MENA and Pakistan.
